What are my options for lenses?

There are many eyeglass lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes.

Here are some of the most common eyeglass lens types:

• Anti-reflective Crizal products – a coating that helps prevent dirt buildup on lenses as well as protects the lenses from scratches. This coating is also useful for preventing night driving glare and computer glare. Offers up to a 2 year warranty on lenses.
• Transition lenses – lenses that darken when exposed to UV light. You can choose from a variety of colors such as gray, brown, blue, green, pink, red, or purple. You can even get transitions that are polarized!
• Polarized lenses – most advanced light filter that eliminates glare and creates a more clear visual image for sunglasses.
• Mirror lenses – a stylish colored lens that decreases the amount of light entering the lens and offers durability by providing additional layers. You can choose from a wide array of colors such as silver, blue, pink, orange, etc. You can choose transition fashion mirrors or polarized lenses with a mirror.
• Varilux X series – An innovative multi-focal lens that provides a smooth transition from distance to near, eliminates off-balance feeling, and sharpens vision.
